Dear Scouting Community,

We’re excited to invite you to join us for our first Beaver Day of the year at Camp Merz on May 11th! This is a special opportunity for Scouts, leaders, and volunteers to come together and contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our beloved camp.

What’s Happening?

We have a variety of important projects lined up to prepare Camp Merz for an amazing Summer Camp season. From small repairs to major upgrades, your efforts will make a real difference. Whether you’ve joined us in the past or this is your first time, your involvement is crucial for the success of these projects.

What to Bring?

All you need to bring is a willingness to help, appropriate work attire, and a positive attitude! If you have any tools that could assist with our projects, please feel free to bring them along. Additionally, if you have a specific trade or skillset (carpenter, plumber, electrician, etc.) please let us know!

• Date: May 11th

• Location: Camp Merz

• Time: Please arrive by 9:00 AM. We plan to wrap up by 4:00 PM.

A Community Effort:

Beaver Day is more than just a day of work; it's a chance to strengthen our ties within the Scouting community and take pride in our collective effort to maintain and enhance Camp Merz. This camp is yours, and its continued excellence depends on your generous support and hard work.

Youth Participation:

We welcome the energy and enthusiasm of our younger volunteers! Please note that any youth attending should be accompanied by a parent or a unit leader.

We hope to see you there, ready to make a difference! Your dedication and hard work are what make Camp Merz a fantastic place for all our Scouts.

Volunteerism:

This is a volunteer event! Our team will be happy to sign off on any forms for hours worked if Scouts (or adults) have volunteer requirements for School or other organizations.
