The 2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) will be held from Monday, July 25, 2022, to Saturday, July 30, 2022, at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.

NOAC is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow, about 6,000+ Arrowmen from across the nation are expected to converge upon the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This is a conference full of training cells, activities, and a multitude of brotherhood opportunities with Arrowmen from across the country.

Participants will return home with:

  • A deeper understanding of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Order of the Arrow Obligation, and what it means to "live" these words in one's daily life.

  • A renewed spirit, pride, and enthusiasm for Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.

  • Ideas that can be used to better serve Scouting at the Unit, District, and Council Levels.

  • New programs, knowledge, and skills to improve Lodge operations.

  • Enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of how to carry out the work of the Lodge.

  • New lasting friendships with fellow Arrowmen from throughout the Nation

  • Memories that will last a lifetime.

Participant Fees:

The cost to attend NOAC is $800 per person. This fee includes travel to and from NOAC, as well as housing, program, and food service during the event.

Departure and Return Dates:

We will leave from a central location (TBD) and travel as a contingent to The University of Tennessee on July 24th or 25th, 2022.

We will depart the conference on Saturday, July 30, 2022, after Breakfast and are scheduled to arrive home late in the afternoon/evening that same day.

The central departure and return locations will be announced at a later date.

What is NOAC?

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the flagship national Order of the Arrow event. It is held every two years at a major university campus and is typically attended by as many as 8,000 Arrowmen from all 50 states. It is second only to the BSA National Jamboree in size and scope. Our largest conference was in 2015, attended by more than 15,000 Arrowmen to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Order of the Arrow. We expect at least 6,000 Arrowmen to attend in 2022.

When and where will NOAC be held?

NOAC will be held July 25th – July 30th, 2022, at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

  • The University of Tennessee, Knoxville also hosted the 1977, 1992, and 2000 National OA Conferences.

Who can attend NOAC?

Any registered member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Order of the Arrow as of the conference start date.

  • Attendance:

        • Must be a Dues Paid and Active Member of the Lodge

  • All attendees are required to provide BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) forms A, B, and C, and must be no older than one year from the last date of NOAC (newer than July 30th, 2021).

  • All attendees are required to provide Proof of Vaccination against COVID-19, or a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken 72 hours before check-in at the conference.

  • Adults (18 and older) must also complete Youth Protection Training through MyScouting.

How much does it cost to attend NOAC?

The price to attend NOAC is ($800) and includes the following:
