Ordeal Candidates/Elangomats, please keep the following items in a separate hiking backpack or duffel bag for Friday Night, or at least ready to pack back up after putting the rest of your gear away until Saturday:

• Ground cloth/Tarp—large enough to sleep on and cover you top to bottom

• Sleeping bag (suitable for the weather conditions of the weekend)

• Water bottle with water

• Flashlight or Headlamp

• Personal first aid kit and Toiletries

• Extra Sleepwear/clothing/Jacket or Hoodie * suitable for the weather conditions

• Rain Gear * May leave it out to wear

EVERYONE, INCLUDING ORDEAL CANDIDATES:

• Class A Uniform (You can leave your merit badge sash and neckerchief at home)

  • • Arrowmen – OA Sash / (Lodge) Hard Hat (If you have one)

• Required Forms!

  • • Annual Health & Medical Record Parts A and B

    • Event Permission & Emergency Contact Form

• Any medications (like inhalers, EpiPen, etc...) must be packed in a sealable bag with your name on it. (Note: Any and all medications MUST be listed on your Medical Form for the health officer to check and go over with you, and any that must be kept on you will be given back.)

• Hiking Backpack and/or Footlocker

• Sleeping Bag (suitable for the weather conditions of the weekend)

• Small Pillow

• Sleeping Pad

• Tent or Hammock (Recommended)

• Rain Gear (IS A MUST)

• Water Bottle

• Seasonal Work Clothes, Gloves, Shoes, or Boots * AKA - Clothing you are okay with getting dirty, torn, and/or paint on.

• Extra Clothes, Gloves, Shoes, or Boots

• Safety Glasses / Ear Plugs (Recommended)

• Jacket(s) and/or Hoodie(s)

• Hat

• Pocket Flashlight or Headlamp

• Personal Toiletries / Shower Items & Shower Shoes
